This new collage includes snapshots of the life of our family having been gathered together over the years.
During the years major changes had taken place in the world of photography from black and white prints taken on a box brownie through to the iPhone of today.
Maintaining a library of these has been random to say the least, in the majority of cases a shoebox provided an ideal place to keep the prints together. For the real enthusiast the prints were compiled in an album and stacked and kept by various members of the family.
Next came colour transparencies needing some form of viewing device and often a storage container that facilitated the viewing equipment. As was the case with many a thing each brand of viewing device came with a non interchangeable storage container making it difficult to file photos in a practical way.
Today after very rapid change into the digital age the iPhone is taking more photos than ever but the filing continues to be a challenge, in the majority of case it seems that they are left on the phone and just shown the others from there.
